What is the PTA Purpose?
The object of this association, in common with the Objects of the National PTA and the California State PTA, are:
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school community and place of worship.
- To raise the standards of home life.
- To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
- To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
- To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.
Are you a member of the PTA?
You must be a member for 30 days to make a motion or vote at our meetings. In order to be a member you MUST write your name on a membership envelope AND pay dues of $10 per person. Membership envelopes are in the school office and at meetings. We plan to have our membership list available at each event, so verify that your name is on it.
