I noticed that the site doesn't list very many names, even as contacts.  Why aren't lists of contacts featured in the site?
Actually, there are a couple of reasons.  The first is that we do not wish to infringe upon anyone's privacy.  The second is that we have agreed to follow the acceptable use policy of the CVUSD, even though we are not technically an agency of the district.  Before using any personal contact information, we get them to release permission.

The site seems a little plain.  Why aren't the pages flashier?
We wanted the site to work pretty well for as many people as possible, even those with just a  modem.  By keeping graphics to a minimum, page download times is quite fast.

Why are there no copyright notices on any of the pages?
That's because none of the material, including the site structure and page layouts, is protected by copyright.  Let's be more to the point.  If you are from another PTA and are trying to get your own web site off the ground, please feel free to copy anything you find here, including the entire site.  An e-mail to tell us your plans would be appreciated, so that we can visit your site in a few months and copy any improvements you've made to add to our site.
